fluid and feminine fashions to goddess glamour…
Karlie Jay is one of the newest members in the league of
Australian fashion designers. She has gained a reputation
for her distinctive and original style, receiving national
recognition as a finalist at the 2005 Australian Fashion
Awards for her Couture Design, "fem de lar mer".
Although she didn't start sewing until after she graduated
from high school. She has gained her industry, sewing and
pattern making skills throughout an intense one year course
at the Cairns TAFE. Her well grounded background and natural
ability has augured well for this young designer, winning a
number of fashion awards early in her career.
With the official Launch of her Self-titled Label in May
2006 as part of the Virgin Blue Reef and Rainforest
Carnivale in Port Douglas, Karlie is now looking forward to
branching out and wholesaling her designs.
Karlie Jay specializes in One-off designs. Everything from
Sassy Swimwear to Unique Evening wear made to measure. Her
label embodies elegance and femininity. Combining design
creativity with exquisite fabric, creating a stylish and
individual look. Karlie Jay has continued to drive her
design skills and develop her sewing experience with orders
for made to measure garments for clients all over Australia.

Karlie Jay continues to draw on her design philosophy by
pushing her label creativity and using her unique talents to
drive her fashion label forward - forever unpredictable.
